Lunch

Lunch was a crazy insane experience. Sam (pictured) and I went to Denny's for a free grand slam which was offered from 6am to 2pm today only! There are a few pictures of the crowds. We put our name on a wait list that was supposedly a 35 min wait. After 45 min or so we went to ask why we hadn't hear our name called only to find out that they "started a new list" which I guess means they trashed the old list with our names on it! So we put our name on the new list and waited a bit. We went back in to see if the "Samantha" they called was actually "Sam" and we found out that the old list with our names on it had been found as it was actually lost behind a registrar or something. So with our names on two active lists, we were finally called and we were seated an hour and a half after arriving at the Dennys. Service was prompt. Our server offered us menus but then said "You're having two grand slams right?" and we said yes. He took the menus without us actually looking at them. The food came out quickly and it smelled great. It was alot of food and I didn't finish my eggs (leftovers pictured). As we finished up, left a tip (what's 20% of 0? no just kidding we left for what the meal would have been), and got up to go, the server begged us to stay until 2pm (it was about 1:30 when we finished) so he wouldn't have to wait another table of free grand slams! Poor guy. We left anyways :-p .
