After my interview and after interview stuff was over I met up with Hansen and we hung out and then went to Pepper Sky where I had some fried ice cream.
After the Bexley interview the Bexley GRTs invited us to their room for tea and socializing with some of the seniors. The first picture is a a student who's name I forgot but she was super cool (I should remember her name because we talked a while. If you see this blog, let me know your name so I can update the blog) and the female half of the GRTs (respectively). The second picture is the female half of the GRTs and some students. I know the girl in the green is named Kate. We had great tea with lots of soy milk and then some indian food. Hanging out was pretty great.
I made brownies for my interview on the 4th west hall of East Campus. I licked the bowl and enjoyed more than I should have! I had some milk too. I <3 brownies.
I went to dinner with Emily (pictured) at Spice in Harvard Square. There we shared a fresh spring roll appetizer and I had the chicken larb (I asked them to make it mild but it was still hot for me.) Yum!
I made tang white cupcakes (http://slugwiki.mit.edu/index.php/Tang_Cookbook#White_Tang_Cake) for my GRT interview on the 4th east hall of East Campus. They are pictured with and without cream cheese frosting. I had a little taste of them and they are very tart. Some are misshapen because I only own one cupcake pan so the rest had to bake in a regular pan.
After dinner I went to trivia at the Thirsty Ear. We had a pretty reasonable sized team to start but by the end people abandoned us because we were losing (j/k). The remaining players pictured from left to right are Bhaskaran, Derek, and Alan. At trivia I had some nachos and beer (more beer than remains in the cup).
I had dinner last night over video conference with my friend Nnennia (pictured with gouda). I had some pinto beans, bagel with peanut butter, popsicles (not shown because they melt fast), and candy canes (not shown either).
For lunch I had an Asian chicken salad with spinach, sesame dressing, mandarin oranges, and crispy noodles. I also had broccoli with ranch dip and a nutrisystem chocolate peanut butter bar.
For dinner I had a beef and veggie soup at cosi with the wheat bread and a grape sobe water. After dinner I went to a movie and got a popcorn that I couldn't take a picture of because it was too dark. When I came home from the movie I had another Star Market pizza but I didn't take a picture of it because I'm ashamed of all the pizza I've been having lately. I also had some candy canes.
For breakfast I went to Sidney Grill . They have a decent breakfast buffet there. I had lots of bacon and smoked salmon, a waffle with whipped cream and maple syrup, lots of fruit, a cheese danish, grapefruit juice, and coffee. Yum! The food was good and the service was good too.
